If you're looking to plan a travel destination to an affordable beach resort type area, Cabo San Lucas at the Southern tip of Baja California is your best bet. With an average of 350 sunny days a year and temperatures in the low eighties in the winter and nineties in the summer Cabo is an excellent year round vacation destination. It seems quite appropriate that the entire length of Baja should come to a dramatic end here with the large granite rock formations and with the spectacular arch at land's end where the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez meet.
